The Final Portfolio is your chance to look back over the whole semester and highlight what you have learned.<\/p>\n

The class\u00a0 Policy Statement<\/a> names the following learning objectives for the class:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Utilize writing as a tool for learning and reflection<\/li>\n
  2. Develop stories from memories; listen others into story; build a connection between other people through story sharing<\/li>\n
  3. Develop a robust writing process, moving from discovery to communication<\/li>\n
  4. Compose a college-level analytical essay<\/li>\n
  5. Create a useful and accurate annotated bibliography to aid in research<\/li>\n
  6. Effectively communicate orally<\/li>\n
  7. Become aware of the narratives that drive society<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Portfolio Part 1: (10 pts)<\/p>\n

    Which of the seven objectives did you struggle with the most? Review your work and collect artifacts<\/strong> related to this learning objective.\u00a0 Where did you struggle?\u00a0 What felt hard about that learning\/task?\u00a0 Did you make progress toward the goal?\u00a0 How do you feel about the level you have achieved now?<\/p>\n

    Write an essay that describes your work on this challenging learning goal, and what you have achieved through your hard work. Format: Essay + Exhibits (Artifacts)<\/p>\n

    Portfolio Part 2: (10 pts)<\/p>\n

    On which of the seven objectives do you feel you achieved excellence?\u00a0 What were the assignments\/work you did related to that objective?\u00a0 Point to specific work that meets the objective.\u00a0 This is your chance to showcase your best quality work!<\/p>\n
