My mother tried a lot of different things but eventually found something that worked quite well. This back in the times of cassettes and clunky Cd\/Cassette\/radio, so at a garage sale she got me a cassette of the audio recordings of a book called\u00a0<em>Just So Stories<\/em> by Rudyard Kipling. I listened to these stories on repeat every night for almost 2 years. All these stories are origin stories of different animals and two about the alphabet. Looking at the length of the audio recordings there are few that are close to 5 minutes. So the story I&#8217;m going to hopefully use is, &#8220;How the Whale Got His Throat.&#8221; There are other stories in this book but some take as long as 20 minutes to recite.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When I was a little kid, I had troubles falling asleep and I still do.
