\n\uf0a7 Having a book to remember the telling of their stories in the future might be beneficial for the residents to have later in their life
\n\uf0a7 Really cool starfish story (\u201cit made a difference to that one\u2026\u201d)
\n\u2022 Don\u2019t give out your address to the residents\u2026.
\n\u2022 Maria hit someone with her car
\n\u2022 Don\u2019t run from the police
\n\u2022 Go to court if you get a speeding ticket and there\u2019s a 50\/50 chance you get out of paying fines, etc.
\n\u2022 This is more for us than just a grade
\no Dolson believes this is for us to also learn something about life, etc.
\no Give us more tools to go on and build relationships
\n\u2022 Just by telling these stories it seems like we\u2019re creating a community
\n\u2022 I completely missed the one thing that was said about the pdf we had to read (forgot to type, responder please help)
\n\u2022 Aristotle\u2019s triangle:
\no Teller- they have one way of seeing things, but have a reason to tell that story, to some person.
\no Listener- brings in their own perspectives to change purpose if they were ever to tell it again.
\no Purpose- lives in the mind of the Teller and the Listener. Will never be the same for anyone.
\no A bit of their life becomes your life.
\n\u2022 Are narrators even real (can there ever TRULY be a neutral, omniscient narrator?)
\n\u2022 Question to ask yourself: How are the stories you\u2019ve heard going to change the way you think about things in the future.<\/p>\n
