Trip 3 to Bon Air

Last week, I missed my group’s trip to Bon Air because I was sick. This week, my partner walked into the room and greeted me, immediately asking if I was feeling better. He later told me that the letter I wrote him in my absence was hanging on the wall of his unit. His obvious concern for my well-being made me so happy. It’s really obvious that we are creating a true bond of friendship and I couldn’t be more thrilled about how these visits are unfolding.

Besides our specific relationship’s prosperity, the group is growing to be more comfortable and cohesive as well. This week we did not have Professor Dolson as a mediator. At first a little nervous, we all facilitated the discussion, and the group discussion felt like a natural conversation, which focused a lot on animals and our love or hate for them. Maybe they were more comfortable without the presence of an authority figure, but they all seemed open to contributing to our free-flowing and comfortable conversation. It was really awesome to see how our group is progressing.
