Origin Story – Native American Myths of Creation

I was lost when it came to deciding what I wanted my origin story to be. My mother never really told me stories as a kid, so I became obsessed with fairytales. Alas, Professor Dolson isn’t allowing us to do those so I had to dig deeper. Greek mythology? It was the first kind of storytelling- besides fairytales- that I was interested in as a kid. In fact, it turned into a hobby of mine. I would collect Greek mythology books and read them in a day and want more more more. This of course led to my research in Roman mythology, Egyptian, Norse, and finally, Native American.

There was something that struck me about Native American mythology that reminded me of my Hispanic roots and my infatuation with Greek mythology. The origin of the world was fascinating to me.
