Passport Specials

This week’s Passport Cafe Specials help us say hang on to summer with featured ingredient, coconut, while welcoming us into Autumn with featured ingredients, ginger and parsnips! If you’ve never had a parsnip, Passport describes them as white carrots with a sweeter, nuttier, and earthier taste.

Here are the week’s specials:

Chicken Ginger and Coconut Stew $6.50

Chicken thighs simmered in chicken stock, coconut milk with onion, leek, carrots, garlic, ginger, star anise, and bay leaf; served over rice. (Contains gluten)

Parsnip Coconut Curry $6.00

Sauteed parsnips, garlic, ginger, onion, jalapeno, lemon grass, and kaffir lime leaf simmered in coconut milk, vegetable stock, and tomato paste with cilantro, lime juice,, and soy sauce; served over rice.
