Persepolis Reflection

I was very interested in the concept behind Persepolis. Prior to reading the graphic novel, I did not know much about the Iranian revolution besides the little I had learned about it in 10th grade World History. It was interesting to hear about living during this time, especially from the perspective of someone who was a child at the time. Tomorrow I would like to discuss more how Satrapi had to give up so much including her dream of becoming a prophet, leaving her home, and the several deaths of her friends and family. It is amazing how she was able to deal with so much at such a young age.
