Persepolis Reading Reaction

One of the most interesting parts of the book for me was the description of the way the revolution itself happened. I had not realized that there were so many people against the changes and had kind of just assumed that this was something that everyone had wanted. I also did not realize that Iranian Revolution was originally an attempted push toward democracy and a marxist economy. One question that I have from the reading is whether there is still such an outcry against the changes brought on by the revolution today in Iran or if everyone has generally just accepted them by now.
