What I Bring to the Classroom
I would say that I am a mix between an introvert and an extrovert. When I am passionate about something, I confidently contribute to class discussion and express my viewpoints. When I am unsure or unmoved by something, I am less likely to create and discuss a thorough analysis of a work. In addition, I am definitely someone who struggles with listening and not interrupting people, but this class is definitely teaching me to be a more patient listener. My identity is a white girl from Long Island, New York who has been through her share of hardship and success just like my fellow classmates and professor. My past experiences play a role in the way I think and what I am passionate about, so hopefully my unique perspective can contribute to a diverse learning experience for the entire class.
