A Lifelong Love Affair
I have had a love affair with technology since I touched my first computer in 1983 (or maybe even earlier when my dad bought an Atari0. In the late 1980s, I put that passion to work when I taught my students how to use Print Shop to create bookmarks and my fellow English teachers how to use a word processor to create handouts. I have never looked back and after almost 35 years still finds technology fun and fascinating!
I lives and work from a small farm in Sussex County and until 2022 year, served as Executive Director of the Virginia Society for Technology in Education. In between gardening, reading, crafting and playing music, I creates online learning experiences for several nonprofits, teach for University of Richmond and Old Dominion University and create and facilitate professional development workshops.
