{"id":340,"date":"2016-03-15T04:45:16","date_gmt":"2016-03-15T04:45:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/richmondlawcdo\/?p=340"},"modified":"2016-03-15T04:51:07","modified_gmt":"2016-03-15T04:51:07","slug":"vsb-to-award-local-government-fellowship-for-summer-internship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/richmondlawcdo\/2016\/03\/15\/vsb-to-award-local-government-fellowship-for-summer-internship\/","title":{"rendered":"VSB to Award Fellowship to Local Government Intern"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To encourage interest in local government internships and careers, the Board of Governors of the Local Government Law Section of the Virginia State Bar (VSB) will award a $4,000 fellowship to a law student who interns with a Virginia county, city, or town attorney&#8217;s office this summer.<\/p>\n<p>The fellowship will be awarded either in its entirety to one outstanding first- or second-year law student who has committed to working full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks at a Virginia local government attorney&#8217;s office during the summer of 2016, or divided between two students working full-time for a minimum of 5 weeks each.
