Before you apply for a position, you should research the employer. Evaluations from former summer interns are one of the best sources of information.

At the end of every summer, students are asked to complete an evaluation of their law-related positions via Symplicity. Many students offer their contact information so future students may contact them with additional questions.

If you want to access the results of previous evaluations:

1. Login to Symplicity and select the “Summer Employment Evaluation” link under Shortcuts on the right side of your home page.

2. Click the “Search Evaluations” tab.

3. Filter the evaluations by employer name, type, location, size, practice area or time period.

Even if you did not receive a 2016 Summer Public Interest Fellowship, please submit a summer employment evaluation:

1. Login to Symplicity and select the “Summer Employment Evaluation” link under Shortcuts on the right side of your home page.

2. Click the “My Evaluations” tab.

3. Click the “Add New” button.

4. Complete the evaluation.

5. If you worked more than one law-related position, please fill out an evaluation for each employer.
