Visualization Analysis

The visualization I chose was a bar chart. This chart depicts different cosmic books and the number of pages they have. The x axis shows the number of pages each book has, and the y axis shows us how many books have the same number of pages. Something interested seen is most books in this visualization have the highest bars for pages between 150 to 250 words. The rest are not as high and it looks like the higher the page number the less amount of books there are, so the bars are little to none. It starts to decrease as the number of pages gets higher. This idea and pattern seen from this visualization connects to the reading, “Information visualizations allow large amounts of (often complex) data to be depicted visually in ways that reveal patterns, anomalies, and other features of the data”. This chart does a great job at showing that and helping me understand as the amount of pages goes up the less books their are. I think something interesting about this chart and now shown was that the x and y axis are not specifically labeled. When I first saw this chart I was confused on what it meant, because there were no labels, to lessen the confusion adding labels to the chart could help a lot.
