Late Night LoRo Minute Paper September 29

Today, we discussed the varying biblical views of Niditch, Sarna and Speiser. One particular question we discussed was who had the authority to give God a name and what period in time he was given his name. Another unique question was a point brought up by Niditch; The relationship between man and woman, and how they are two parts of a whole. This branched into the topic of how the blame could be placed on woman, man or God himself. Overall, the arguments presented offered a fresh perspective on the origin of the common era.
