Team Dyno-Mite

In today’s discussion we talked about how Enuma Elsih, Gilgamesh, and Genesis 1-3 have certain similarities. After coming to a consensus we agreed that Coogan’s thesis was that he argued that cosmologies of ancient times share similar threads and concepts in their quest to explain the unknown realities of the ancient world. Three main concepts and themes that we found were the theme of water, the theme of seduction, and the divine council.  We explored how these concepts tie together and we discovered the role it probably had in explaining the unknown realities to the ancient society.
