Team Dynomite 10-15

Today in class we began by discussing the Apocalypse of Moses piece about the exoneration/denigration of Eve. We examined how the text appeared to originate as three separate documents that were compiled together, each document with a different perspective on Eve’s actions in Gen 1-3. We focused specifically on the Apoc. Mos. 15-30 section which speaks about Eve’s perspective and gives insight on her thought process in order to create sympathy with the reader. We also discussed with professor Cobb the relationship between the Christian practice of Baptism and its possible origins in Genesis
