Exoneration & Denigration of Eve

Eve’s narrative of the Fall was likely written by a different author than the rest of the Apocalypse of Moses text because of the inconsistencies between the texts. Eve’s account leads the reader to sympathize with her because it gives the reader insight into Eve’s perspective. The rest of the Apocalypse of Moses shows Eve in a negative way, and blames Eve for the Fall.
