Discourse- Kevin, Parr and Sharon

We started class with a powerpoint on historical views of male and female attributes. Then we focused on the controversies in  Gen 1-3, specifically when God took Adam’s rib. Approaching it from the view of early thinkers, we saw that the text creates problems when it comes to interpreting it. Different people think of different solutions to the problems, each from their own viewpoint. For Adam’s rib, some think that God is a thief, while others think that God was doing a good thing for Adam.
