Team DynoMite 9/17

Today we began our discussion on the Genesis 1-3 text. We began by exploring the many questions that we had created about the text during our thinking exercise the previous night. One of our discussion points centered around the rivers which are presented in the creation story. We wanted to know what their relevance was and we decided that it had to do with giving Genesis readers a sense of reality when it came to the stories, because these rivers also existed in real life. Many people could search or try and find the “Garden of Eden,” but the story does not reflect reality.
