Rabbinic Interpretation

The Bible can’t speak for itself; it needs a human agent to interpret it and bring meaning to the text. Every time we read, we all subconsciously interpret, but the rabbis put this interpretation in writing. Interpretations are necessary to keep the text relevant for all generations.
