9/10 Talmud

Today we discussed the importance of the Talmud and its different variations. The Rabbi’s were trying to connect with different audiences over different generations and cultures. In between the Talmud and the Torah the Midrashim legends don’t focus on details but on substantializing a point or message. Although the Talmud is composed of legends of the Midrashim they still represent the overarching ideas and messages of the Torah.
