Documentary Hypothesis-Kristi, Mikayla, Kiana, Elizabeth

We defined the Documentary Hypothesis as a theory that identifies four main strains of authorship written in different time periods in the Pentateuch. Repetition and conflicting details serve as evidence of different styles of writing throughout the Pentateuch. Criticisms against the Documentary Hypothesis are relatively new but bring up valid issues with the dating of the sources. As we continue in this class, we should be mindful of various authorship when analyzing passages.
