Even though Dissoi Logoi is a very ancient text, it’s timeless and still applies today because it talks about topics like ethics, democracy, justice, and memory. Repetitive use of examples appeals to perspectives of different types of people and is a great oratorical skill. Things can be good/bad, seemly/shameful, just/unjust depending on the situation and a person’s perspective on morality. Morals are defined by individual culture and perspective.
