Introducing Lucy – Our new synthetic chemist!
One of the newest members of the Pollock lab is Lucy Zhou. Officially she joined the lab in the spring semester, learning all about protein expression and purification as well as running our fluorescence polarization assay. Thank you to Courtney for...
The Pollock lab utilizes chemical biology techniques, biochemical methods, and organic synthesis to understand breast cancer and inflammatory disease development and progression. In particular, we are interested in nuclear receptor function, phosphorylation signaling pathways, design of prodrugs, and the link between cancer and inflammation. We have a lot of collaborators on and off campus so we can expand our scientific discoveries.
