Introducing the newest member of the Pollock lab
On February 4, 2020, the newest, and permanent, member of the Pollock lab entered the world: Alexander Douglas Hobart! We are so excited to see him grow up as a part of the University of Richmond, Gottwald Science Center, and Pollock lab family.
The Pollock lab utilizes chemical biology techniques, biochemical methods, and organic synthesis to understand breast cancer and inflammatory disease development and progression. In particular, we are interested in nuclear receptor function, phosphorylation signaling pathways, design of prodrugs, and the link between cancer and inflammation. We have a lot of collaborators on and off campus so we can expand our scientific discoveries.
