My name is Camryn Sung and I am a rising junior who has been fortunate enough to join the Pollock lab this summer, where we focus on studying antibiotic resistance. My research centers around finding small molecule inhibitors of proteins that could serve as adjuvant...
The Pollock lab utilizes chemical biology techniques, biochemical methods, and organic synthesis to understand breast cancer and inflammatory disease development and progression. In particular, we are interested in nuclear receptor function, phosphorylation signaling pathways, design of prodrugs, and the link between cancer and inflammation. We have a lot of collaborators on and off campus so we can expand our scientific discoveries.
