Peter Coles is a very well-respected cosmologist, with a lot of original and thought-provoking things to say on a bunch of subjects, including the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/telescoper.wordpress.com\/2010\/11\/21\/a-little-bit-of-bayes\/\">Bayesian approach to probabilities<\/a> (one of my obsessions), <a href=\"http:\/\/telescoper.wordpress.com\/2011\/05\/30\/missing-mass-hysteria\/\">media coverage of science<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/telescoper.wordpress.com\/2011\/05\/26\/an-easy-physics-problem\/\">physics<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/telescoper.wordpress.com\/2011\/05\/17\/cute-physics-problem\/\">puzzles<\/a>, and a lot more.
