If you haven\u2019t heard of Purity Ring<\/a>, you\u2019re missing out! As a fairly new addition to the Parsons Music Library<\/a>, Purity Ring combines their own genre of \u201cfuture pop\u201d with electronic indie in their newest album Another Eternity<\/a><\/em> (2015). The Canadian duo Megan James and Corin Roddick recorded and produced the album themselves, showing off a sharper focus on James\u2019 vocals and Roddick\u2019s evocative percussive skills than in their first album Shrines<\/a><\/em> (2012). <\/p>\n

Purity Ring\u2019s songs deliver dream-like melodies intertwined in electronic landscapes as heard in \u201cBodyache\u201d and \u201cBegin Again.\u201d The duo continues to give rise to prevailing styles in indie music through their resonance of intensive trap beats and smooth, atmospheric lyrics. <\/p>\n
