Ready or Not, Here I Come!<\/a>\u00a0by Teddy Slater is about a group of girls who count to 100 by 5s, 10s, and 20s while playing hide and go seek.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/search.barnesandnoble.com\/Reeses-Pieces-Count-by-Fives\/Jerry-Pallotta\/e\/9780439135207\/?itm=1&amp;USRI=Reese%27s+Pieces+Count+by+Fives\">Reese&#8217;s Pieces Count by Fives<\/a> by Jerry Pallotta uses reese&#8217;s for counting numbers to 10 as well as to 100 by\u00a05s.\u00a0 The author\u00a0incorporates trucks and different machinery to carry loads of reese&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/search.barnesandnoble.com\/Icky-Bug-Numbers\/Jerry-Pallotta\/e\/9780439560108\/?itm=1&amp;USRI=Icky+Bug+Numbers\">Icky Bug Numbers<\/a> by Jerry Pallotta\u00a0uses bright and colorful illustrations of bugs to teach numbers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity and Game\u00a0for Children<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ixl.com\/math\/practice\/kindergarten-skip-count-by-twos-fives-tens\">Skip it<\/a>&#8211;\u00a0This online game and activity helps children practice on skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ixl.com\/math\/practice\/grade-1-counting-up-to-100\">By Ones<\/a>-This activity allows children to practice identifying the number of objects by ones, while requiring students to generate or type in its corresponding numeral.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abcya.com\/counting_fish.htm\">Fishing<\/a>&#8211; Students must count the number of fish and type in the number in the corresponding box.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kidport.com\/grade1\/math\/Numbersense\/G1-M-NS1-1-1.htm\">Right Number<\/a>-Click on the number box\u00a0 that represent the number of objects that are shown.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/members.learningplanet.com\/act\/count\/free.asp\">Sequence<\/a>&#8211; Students are to choose what number they want to count by and click on the number that follows that sequence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Resources<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uen.org\/Lessonplan\/LPview?grade=1\">Lesson Plans<\/a>&#8211;\u00a0 This site has a comprehensive list of lesson plans for 1<sup>st<\/sup> grade.
