The book revolves around four children experimenting with water vapor using common household items such boiling water or clothes drying on a line. They also use the outdoors to explain how\u00a0humans and animals\u00a0affect the water cycle. Even further, the book hits on how water vapor can effect the weather outside: &#8220;Sometimes the drops in clouds freeze. These raindrops become ice drops. This can happen even on a hot summer day, this is called hailstones&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Curriculum Connections<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Down Comes the Rain<\/em>\u00a0could be used as an introduction tool for learning about the water cycle.
