The triangle is greedy so it asks a shape-shifter to turn it into various other shapes only to change back into a triangle in the end.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Web Sites for Kids<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>These are great web sites for young children to explore shapes.\u00a0 It also gives the child a chance to practice beginning computer skills such as clicking, dragging, and\u00a0opening and closing a window.\u00a0 All\u00a0games are interactive\u00a0sites and allows the child to be involved.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.akidsheart.com\/threer\/lvl1\/mixshapes2.htm\">Toy Shapes<\/a>&#8211; In this game students will drag the toys to the matching picture shape on the shelf.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.akidsheart.com\/threer\/lvl1\/shapes.htm\">Let&#8217;s Play with Shapes<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0 students will play a variety of games with circles, rectangles, triangles.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.storyplace.org\/preschool\/activities\/shapesonact.asp\">I Spy Shapes<\/a>&#8211; students will click on all the triangles in the picture.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/storyplace.org\/preschool\/activities\/shapesonstory.asp\">Story of Shapes<\/a>-the students will listen to poems about the 4 shapes and watch the shape as it is drawn.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tvokids.com\/framesets\/bby.html?game=69&amp;\">Marigold&#8217;s Mathematics Shapeville<\/a>&#8211; students will click on a specified shape they chose in the real-life pictures.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Teachers- Look Here for Additional Resources<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Lesson plans for shape activities, printables, templates, and related themes involving shapes.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.first-school.ws\/theme\/shapes.htm\"><br \/>\nhttp:\/\/www.first-school.ws\/theme\/shapes.htm<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Links to various early childhood resources.
