Winwood\u2019s version of the song was very in tune with the popular music of the time, which is why it saw so much success. Whitney Houston\u2019s 1990 cover version of the song, on the other hand, didn\u2019t see any time on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. This was largely due to the fact that, because her label didn\u2019t want her to be seen as a cover artist, the song only came out as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of her album <\/span><em style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Noto Serif', serif; font-size: 17px;\">I\u2019m Your Baby Tonight. <\/em><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Noto Serif', serif; font-size: 17px;\">In 2019, Kygo released his remix of Houston\u2019s cover. Peaking at #63 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, he succeeded in introducing a new generation to Houston\u2019s enormous talent.
