In terms of experimentation, many come to the conclusion that the Beatles were able to create a turning point for popular music after 1967 under the influence of <\/span>Sergeant Pepper\u2019s Lonely Hearts Club Band<\/span><\/i>. The Beatles\u2019 unique adventure in sound, songwriting, studio technology and even cover art had an immediate impact when the album, which went on to become the biggest-selling United Kingdom record of all time, was launched on 1 June 1967. The effects of the album clearly were shown with multiple performers and artists reacting differently to hearing it. Within three days of its release, The Jimi Hendrix Experience opened a show at the Saville Theatre in London with a rendition of the title track. <\/span><\/p>\n
