Think of each scene as a paragraph of an essay. We put these scenes together in order to construct our argument. In this case, we aren&#8217;t just using words but also images and audio as well as the formal elements (see <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/mediacultureidentity\/readings\/\">our Sikov reading<\/a>) of moving images to make our arguments.\u00a0 \u00a0The goal is to identify the key scenes in your VC.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Content\/ Mise-en-scene: Which media will you use?\u00a0 A shot from a film? A tweet?<\/li>\n<li>Audio: Will there be sound? If so, what kinds?<\/li>\n<li>Comments: Add additional information about the scene. For example, will there be text? Make sure to identify which keywords apply to which scenes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most will need to complete at least 2 or 3\u00a0 of the templates of finish a full outline of their video.<\/p>\n<p>Come prepared to class to discuss the argument of your essay and your storyboard.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Class Questions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8211; What is the scope of the project?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8211; What is the video&#8217;s argument?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8211; Is the argument specific? Precise? Supportable?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Are the keywords appropriate? Are there better keywords to apply?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8211; Can one accomplish these goals in 3-5 minutes and be convincing? If not, how can the project be further refined?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Are there other sources that should be included?<\/p>\n<p>For the next class, update your Final Project Description with answers to these questions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Create a storyboard using this template.
