The video contains many references and celebrity cameos that represents music, entertainment and problems today’s’ society.

I chose this topic because: the video demonstrates the ideals of pop culture and problems in society with the use of celebrity cameos, along with the lyrics. The lyrics symbolize problems and the dangers of air pollution and climate change. It is very interesting how Gambino is able to highlight those important problems while also having artwork of celebrities that are used to symbolize black culture and music entertainment.

The piece of media that I will be using is Childish Gambino’s music video: “Feels Like Summer”.

Keywords: Representation, Content and, Ideology

Readings: M/S 166-170, 188-192, Stuart Hall’s Whites of their Eyes, M/S 192-209

My topic is: Representation of pop culture through the use of film and music, using Childish Gambino’s music video titled:

[87703

post-1084","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-final-assignment-description
["GET
