The man box promotes segregation by encouraging others to write what a man should be, when in reality, a man can be anything at all. \u00a0Homosexuality is something that someone is born with and it is not something that people can just choose or not choose. \u00a0Saying whether someone is in the man box (the stereotypical ideas and standards of men) is like saying that children of illegal immigrant parents need to leave the US, it wasn&#8217;t the children&#8217;s choice to be born in the United States, why should they be penalized for it? \u00a0People believe that homosexuality is a negative thing because it doesn&#8217;t conform to what the straight man wants society to be like. \u00a0Homophobia is a real problem, and those who are gay, deserve the same respect as everyone else. \u00a0We all have traits, and characteristics that make us who we are. Should I be segregated because I have a brown hair vs blonde hair?
