Gay Considered outside the Manbox?

According to most straight men, being gay is not considered the norm. However, homosexuality is becoming more popular in our society today. Many years ago, homosexuals were looked down upon. Dating another man was unacceptable and disgusting to even think about. Christians especially did not accept this idea as they believe God created Adam and Eve. Man and women are meant to be together, not men and men or woman and woman. As a christian, I do not support homosexuality because thats not how God wants us to live. However, I do not look down upon them or dislike them. They are humans just like myself and have the freedom to live however they please. In terms of being manly, homosexuality of men is outside the man box in my opinion. In society today, many homosexuals try to be female, or even switch their gender in order to be female. To most man, nothing about that is considered manly at all. A real man accepts their sexuality. Homosexuals may have some manly tendencies, but also might have unmanly ways as well. Any man who shows signs of feminine ways can be viewed less of a man. A man is viewed as aggressive, strong, dominant and one who supports his significant other, who should be a woman. One can agree that a women would not want to be with a man who has feminine ways, and vice versa. Like mentioned earlier, I believe this is how homosexuals are viewed. With this post, my intentions are not to offend or talk badly about homosexuals. Yet, I do believe that as a society homosexuals are not considered manly. At the same time, I do not believe that men should be together. But one has the ability to live however they want, especially if it makes them happy.
