I&#8217;m a Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies Major and a Spanish minor. In Spring of 2016, I will be studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. I chose Madrid because, while I was born and raised in Philadelphia, my mother is Spanish and we have family in Madrid. This, as well as the fact that Spain is so arid and rarely sees any rain, means that droughts occur often.
