I have an exam and a paper due tomorrow as well as prepping for rehearsal and these fifteen minutes are invaluable. I will probably be up until at least 3 am tonight and if it could have been 2:45AM, that would have helped. So it goes.<\/p>\n<p>Rant over.<\/p>\n<p>The altar looks the same<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-201 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed-2-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"unnamed (2)\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed-2-224x300.jpg 224w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed-2-765x1024.jpg 765w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed-2-700x937.jpg 700w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed-2.jpg 1936w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/> as\u00a0previous weeks, with less color on the pipes. The left side windows barely show any color reflecting down onto the stone below them.<br \/>\nThe colors from the right side are reflected back at a much more extreme angle &#8211; this is most obvious because the colors that are usually hitting the floor in the back are hitting the door to the prayer room. I take time to just sit in the space rather than furiously looking around for something to write about and spending all 15 minutes typing as I normally do.<\/p>\n<p>The right side of the chapel is almost blindingly bright. The <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-202 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"unnamed\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed-224x300.jpg 224w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed-765x1024.jpg 765w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed-700x937.jpg 700w, https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lightingdesign\/files\/2015\/10\/unnamed.jpg 1936w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/>left side is much more comforting, no need to squint against the intensity of the light.<\/p>\n<p>Alright.
