Fall is approaching

Interesting to see how different the trees look after a week’s time. Noticing more of the bright green fade into yellows and browns and reds when the sun hits them from a upper side angle. I notice the sky, while still a light blue, has some shading of clouds which is very different from last week. In terms of the sunlight, it seems to be shining more so through the trees from a back-side angle instead of the side of the trees…..if that makes sense? The light coming through the trees is making the water reflect different things such as the pathway and the tree trunks more than the leaves as it has been doing the past two posts. There’s more shadow on the leaves with the sun shining through the trees which is showing more shape of the trees and how big they are. The sunlight today is more of a cooler kind of light, not as Amber as the past weeks. Sitting here looking outside is kind of making me feel slow, bland. Not sure what about the colors of today are making me feel that way, maybe the shade coming through the trees or maybe the whispey clouds or the cooler feeling light, but it just feels slow and……eh.
