It wasn&#8217;t quite tyrannicide because there was a real government involved and it wasn&#8217;t one person randomly doing it. Therefore, I think Parliament would have a better chance of putting someone into power next who wasn&#8217;t as bad as Charles I.<\/p>\n<p>The facts show that Charles I was an evil leader and a tyrant. After reading about the &#8220;Engagement&#8221; I was fully convinced that he deserved to be beheaded. He put his own country under military pressure just to ensure that he could be back as King. This is a great example of doing something for personal benefit, but it harms the public.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I agree with the decision to kill Charles I.
