You\u2019ll find these on your Course Schedule under the headings <strong>Watch, Listen,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Read<\/strong>. Each group will be responsible for posting\u00a0<em>and\u00a0<\/em>commenting.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a poster, post a 2-4 paragraph entry that either 1) responds directly to the textual readings due for that day, or 2) ties the readings to something that has happened in the world.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a commenter, you must respond to\u00a0<strong>three<\/strong>\u00a0posts. At least one should be to someone <em>from the other section<\/em>, so read their posts, as well. Try to post on posts without comments first. Your response may be as short as 2-3 sentences, or may be as long as you wish.<\/p>\n<p>Your blog entries are due most weeks of the semester (there are a total of 13). Responses are due 24 hours before class (so at the start of classtime, but on Sunday\/Tuesday). Comments are due\u00a0<strong>by class<\/strong>\u00a0time (24 hours later).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Post<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To post, log in to WordPress, and you will be taken to the Dashboard. On the left, click on \u201cPosts\u201d and \u201cAdd New.\u201d\u00a0<strong>I recommend composing your post in another document first, then copying it over<\/strong>\u00a0in the event that WordPress or the UR blog server have an error. That way you have your post and can email it to me if posting fails or you cannot log in. <strong>When you are done, press \u201cPublish.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Do not worry if your post doesn\u2019t appear immediately; often, new posts (from new posters) have to be \u201capproved\u201d by me before they will appear. If it hasn\u2019t appeared by the following day, send me an email.<\/p>\n<p>You are being graded on the thoughtfulness of your entries and comments, and should be respectful of others (even if you disagree with them \u2013 which is okay!).
