Law Library Services for University of Richmond School of Law Graduates

How long may I retain the use of my library carrel? Studying in Richmond?  You may keep your study carrel over the summer.  Please clear out your carrel and return the key to Stacy Price (L-17) no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28.

Studying Elsewhere?  Please empty your carrel and return the key to Stacy Price by Wednesday, May 17.  Contact Stacy ( if you have any questions.

Network access (wireless network, VPN, network printers) Your NetID and password are active until August 1.  After August 1, use the university guest wireless access through VisitUR.  Contact Kim Edwards ( with any questions.
Richmond email address Your Richmond email address is yours for life.  To manage your email account after August 1, please visit
Box storage Your files located in Box will be deleted August 1.  Please move data to another online solution (Box personal account, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) or a storage device (thumb drive, external hard drive, etc.) before the deadline.  Contact Kim Edwards with any questions.
Bloomberg, Lexis, and Westlaw accounts Bloomberg Law: Expires six months after graduation (mid-November).

Lexis: Expires August 1, but can be extended to December 31 via

**NEW** Westlaw **NEW**: The law school has negotiated to extend graduates access to Westlaw for 18 months after graduation. If you are listed as graduating in May 2017, you will see a pop-up box for the Grad Elite program when you log on at homepage. Graduating students who request a post-graduation extension will have 18 months access to Westlaw and can be used for commercial use. Use the same username and password, but you must log on at to extend.

What will my attorney privileges be?  You are always welcome in the Law Library!  Check out books by registering for a borrower’s card.  Get guest wireless access while on campus.

Use public computers for Westlaw and other Library databases.
