Does sovereignty validate a state&#8217;s status in a global network? How does sovereignty play into globalization? As per this presentation I gave in my Globalization of the Non-Western world class, &#8220;<a title=\"Bargaining Sovereignty Presentation\" href=\"https:\/\/globalizedweb.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/06\/bargaining-sovereignty-presentation.pptx\">State Power and Networked Governance In A Globalizing World<\/a>&#8220;,\u00a0we see Joel Campbell&#8217;s, Leena Thacker Kumar&#8217;s, and Steve Slagle&#8217;s analysis of these previous questions. Furthermore, they critique whether or not confirmed sovereignty actually merits the validity of a nation state and how corporations also play a key role in how we function within a society. While their ideas allow for some insight on how we can view the global network, there is still a lot of room for improvement in our understanding for how we should function within our\u00a0international framework.
