LeMarquand 11.15

LeMarquand believes that 3rd world scholarship about Jesus provides Western scholars with a critical perspective on their work. He also discusses four major issues in African exegesis: Missions and colonialism, suffering, faith, and African culture. He concludes by discussing the positivity of bias. LeMarquand says that they can alert historians of past reconstructions from people with different prejudices. African bias could provide a window to first century world westerners do not know.
