In the past six weeks at Brown-Forman, I have been extensively working on a project to assist the on-premise team\u2019s business proposal process. Business executives from the on-premise team approach a prospective customer with a powerpoint presentation that explains Brown-Forman\u2019s family of brands, why we think B-F\u2019s partnership would be helpful for the customer, the financial benefits that the partnership can bring, and so on. The different sales offices in Australia have not had a cohesive template to draw from for some years now, instead, they each have their own version. The task that I have been working on is to create a new template for these presentations.<\/p>\n
I have interviewed sales representatives from offices all across the country to try to find similarities between what they want the presentation to include and how I can help make the process more efficient. After that, I had a meeting with my supervisor to create a plan for the presentation. For the past few weeks I\u2019ve been making the first draft of the proposal. One of the pieces of advice I was given was to try to make the presentations more personal for the customers. Therefore, I am going to have one for each type of on-premise venue that Brown-Forman caters to; small bars, modern pubs, casinos, nightclubs, restaurants, etc. The imaging and callouts will be different for each type of venue so the presentation accommodates to the customers. I am hoping that, with the completion of this project, the sales representatives will have templates that showcase how a partnership with B-F will benefit companies. In addition to that, having a presentation that requires minimal editing will make the practice more effective and efficient for Brown-Forman.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
