This week has been rather hectic due to it being the end of the month, so it has been a learning experience to be able to see how the workload changes given the time. That being said, it was also a learning experience because, due to the increased amount of work I was able to be more immersed in the actual process of it, helping my boss with GSPs for the end of the month that go out to everyone in the company. I also finished my first independent project, which was a huge learning experience. I went into it hoping ot be able to pinpoint a problem area, but quickly learned that it is not that simple (if it was it probably already would have been fixed). But it was an interesting set of data to analyze and then talk with my boss about. My next, and likely last project will be about creating the budgets for FP as a whole and then breaking it down by department based on their potential growth and meeting the overall growth goals. I am really looking forward to this project because it was initially something I expressed interest in at the beginning, and I\u2019m really thankful that my boss is giving me the opportunity to learn more about it and actually fiddle with the numbers a little to get more acquainted with it and understand how the entire process works, because obviously the growth goals, and thus the budgets created from there, are huge drivers of business, and concretely show the potential perceived versus actual growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

My internship is slowly winding down and coming to an end, but I\u2019m really thankful for everything I learned and all the experiences I was able to gain at Free People because I think this internship will be something for me to hugely consider in decisions I will be having to make about my future.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
