Reflecting back on the past five weeks of my internship, I can see the ways in which my initial personal contributions have continued to evolve and to serve the organization. During my first week, I created a LinkedIn page, a Facebook page, an Instagram for Reaching Milestones, and a Qualtrics survey for evaluations. The Qualtrics survey has been such a success! The therapists and Director love it because it is so easy and provides accurate and quick feedback that shows the families\u2019 satisfaction with the services Reaching Milestones provides. I also revamped the website, which had not been upgraded since 2010, so my co-worker and I practically rebuilt the website from scratch. Since then, we have continued to collaborate with each other on the design, style, pictures, and information used on the website. The co-worker that I have been working with on the social media for the past five weeks was expecting a baby at the end of June, so it was a little difficult to work with her during this time. Her baby was born on June 28. I was very grateful to her for the time that she was able to assist me, however, I ended up doing a majority of the work on my own. Although there was a lot of work to be done and high expectations placed on us for the completion of this task, I knew that I could not be reliant on my co-worker given her life circumstances, so I tried my best to help ease her stress by doing as much as I could. Creating and keeping up with the website has definitely been the most difficult part of the internship. I\u2019ve also continued to use the Instagram and Facebook in order to help create a brand for Reaching Milestones that reflects its mission and values. I\u2019ve had a lot of fun with these outlets. Lastly, currently there is a working blog in place on the Reaching Milestones website, where I will be posting helpful resources for families as well as documenting some of the testimonials and stories of the families, who the therapists provide services for.<\/p>\n
