First, as I expressed during my first post Salesforce has a unique organization culture that place and a very high importance on community and giving back. It is a value that goes far beyond a mission statement or tab on a website is a true cornerstone of the company and that is why I start with it. From my first day at Salesforce it was emphasized on all employees not just in words but in practice, as we built reading kits for young children. That organizational commitment to service would be evident last Wednesday when I went with one of the teams I support to the greater Chicago Food Bank to help for 3 tons of Sweet Potatoes for vulnerable communities. Outside of service I have made a number of contributions to the two teams I support SDR (inbound sales) & BDR (outbound sales), as well as to the team I am on ASDR (summer intern). For the ASDRs, I took the initiative to create enablement decks and presented them to the ASDRs on how to read SEC Filings. For the BDRs I create value for daily by generating content as well as identifying prospects. As this is my main responsibility I am required to hit a number of metrics driven goals including generating $500k in pipeline and $100 ACV (closed dollars) during my tenure. For the SDRs I have taken on a number of side projects as it is the team I want to get hired on to after the summer. While my contributions to the team are small, they are designed to help me be prepared to be ready to go in the hope I receive an offer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
As I enter the midpoint of my internship I recognize that I have made a number of contributions to the<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3945,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[76614,1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1073","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-personal-contributions","category-uncategorized"],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/jepsoninternship\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1073","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/jepsoninternship\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/jepsoninternship\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/jepsoninternship\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3945"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/jepsoninternship\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1073"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/jepsoninternship\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1073\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/jepsoninternship\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1073"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/jepsoninternship\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1073"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/jepsoninternship\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1073"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
