For many migrants, Germany is seen as a &#8220;promise land.&#8221; This year alone, over a\u00a0 million of migrants entered Germany.\u00a0 However, the tensions are high with the German people.\u00a0\u00a0 Migrants are considered to be an economic burden, as most are low-skilled workers. Matters have only worsened with the recent ISIS attack on Paris. Germans grow more dissatisfied with the government every day.\u00a0 Chancellor Angela Merkel faces the brunt of dissatisfaction.\u00a0 Her reputation continues to plummet with Germans. According to Spiegel, a German news magazine, her popularity steadily declines.\u00a0\u00a0 Recent polls show that she is no longer the most popular candidate, but that she is in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/merkels-popularity-sinks-in-recent-polls\/a-18743242\">fourth place. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Despite her decline in popularity, Chancellor Merkel refuses to limit incoming migrants. However, she and other European leaders have met to discuss the asylum policy.\u00a0 In an effort to<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/11\/29\/world\/europe\/merkel-while-refusing-to-halt-migrant-influx-works-to-limit-it.html?ref=world\"> tighten asylum policy<\/a>, a meeting of European leaders occurs this Sunday.\u00a0 The meeting has the potential for a new approach to migrants not only in Germany, but all of Europe.
